Our Founding Partners

The founding partners of Pillows for Troops are a unique group of people, business associates, community leaders, and friends who have joined together because of one common thread, John Lopes. John's drive, determination, and purpose for this cause is to ensure that the memory of his friend Cpl. James (Jimmy) Hayward Arnal lives on.

JS Furniture Gallery, NaturaWorld, CJOB 68, The Winnipeg Free Press, City of Winnipeg, Envisage Design Group, Destination Winnipeg, and WA Print Management were brought together not by coincidence or by chance. But by a mutual respect for what each partner brings to the table, and because of their deep appreciation and reverence for what the military does for our country. This journey has taken us down a path more powerful then what could have ever been imagined.

To all those assembled for this endeavour, from different places, coast to coast, in Canada and abroad, we thank you for all you've done to support this wonderful cause and for making it come to fruition. To Wendy Hayward, James' Mother, your courage and strength is commended by everyone touched by your story and your amazing son. We hope our efforts, in some small way, help bring peace to you and your family, comfort the soldiers, and keep James forever in our hearts.
