Welcome

Thank you for visiting today.

"Pillows for Troops" is a memorial to Cpl. James Hayward Arnal and every fallen soldier, before and after him.

The "Pillows for Troops" Campaign has reached its initial goal of 5000!

Our goal of 5000 travel pillows have been purchased to send to our soldiers in Afghanistan. Each pillow includes a postcard with a handwritten message from the person(s) who bought the pillow. The first shipment left Winnipeg at the end of December.

Due to the increase in troops committed to the mission in Afghanistan, "Pillows for Troops" is very excited to announce that we are going to add an additional 2500 pillows for a new goal of 7500 pillows to be sent to our troops, ensuring every soldier receives one.

VOLUNTEERS are needed to help fill out the postcards that have been purchased to date! Please contact us at info@pillowsfortroops.com if you are in the Winnipeg area and can help out by transferring the e-mail messages to postcards so we can send them out in the next shipment.

Pillows can still be purchased at JS Furniture Gallery on Ellice Avenue and at CJOB 68 on Portage Avenue in Winnipeg.

You can also buy them through our web site in the "Purchase Pillow" section. Please remember to submit a message with your donation so we can send it with your pillow!

Only $5.00 each!

Thank you for your support!

The pictures and stories were collected from his Mother, Wendy Hayward, friends, and his former employer and close friend, John Lopes. View how James embraced every day, enjoy his stories, love for children, and witness the bravery of a young man and his fellow soldiers. You will see through his eyes, in the photography, his passion for people, travel, and life.

Please visit our web site often as we will be adding information on our next mission, correspondence from soldiers, children and families to keep the memories of our brave men and women alive.

From our heart to yours - be safe, be well and to the soldiers of our country - Thank You.
